Default Should I give up my Turbo MR2 for a newer sports car?
My lil' duece coupe has served me exceptionally well, but technology moves on. Now the EVO just rocks but doesn't come close to the Ferrari like style of the Turbo 2.

Turbo MR2s are cool of course but im assuming your car is about 10 years old? I think its time to let it go and get an upgrade. Today they have so many options to choose from. Personally i think a 350z would be nice and a used one is relatively cheap for under 20k but if you got the money get the new 370z, Both are two seaters and have a sports car look to it. You could also look at the new hyundai genesis which are pretty good looking as well.

Assuming that it's about 10 years old, I'd suggest you'd move on. First try to sell it, though preferoubly to a private party than to a dealership, because you sell it for more to private parties. Then start researching. If you want one with nice looks, possibly to a Nissan Z Coupe, or if you have more money and want to go other than Japanese, maybe a small coupe would be the BMW Z4, or Chevy Corvette. The decision's your's though.

If it aint broke, don't fix it. Do you really want to give up such an exceptional car? The resale value on them are extremely high, it's proven itself to be extremely reliable for you, and you don't have car payments. everyone ex-MR2 Turbo I know that got rid of theirs regretted it- and I mean every ex-MR2 Turbo owner. It's cheaper to keep that car then going than to make payments on a new car and the MR2s looks are timeless.
