(Toyota Yaris ? 2008) Manual Transmission Car - Going 200 Kilo Meters per Hour?

Hello,































I have already asked this question earlier today (briefly). But now I am going to tell the long story. Thanks anyway.































Onetime I was roaming with my friend on a highway and we are driving a Toyota Yaris 2008 (Manual Transmission). My friend was driving the car at (124 Mile per Hour) speed (200 KM/H). He noticed a far police checkpoint and he was afraid to be caught. So he shifted from # 5 to # 2 to slow the car down. And actually it worked BUT I heard a very loud sound from the engine, so I asked him is it ok to do that? He said it is very normal IF you press two or three times on the clutch pad BEFORE you shift to # 2 and he did it again to show me. He went to 124 M/H and shifted to # 2 and AGAIN a very loud sound came from the engine. He did that four or five times just to assure me that it?s ok. The car is mine and nothing happened to it since that incident but now, after 1 year from that event, I am curious if it?s ok to do that or not. I am afraid to try it myself and I will not.































Now please anybody knows about this: (PRESSING TWO OR THREE TIMES ON THE CLUTCH PAD BEFORE YOU SHIFT TO # 2 FROM # 5).































I am really very curious about this so please help me and thank you very much in advance.

WOW , do your guys not know how to use your brakes ??















have fun destroying your engine















you can blow your engine if you do that again















or destroy your transmission and fade your clatch in no time































you have to use your brakes and while downshift according to your engine speed , like 5th, 4 th, 3rd















this way , using engine braking and brakes together is the fastest way to slow down , OR push the clutch all the way / in neutral and then hit your brakes

ah hahahaha.... that's really bad.... it shortens the engine lifespan as going into the red zone is really bad....
