How much work do you want to do? The Nissan engine into the Toyota chassis would be a chore requiring either a lot time and mechanical ability OR very deep pockets! The 3 TC is a great little engine, though its' OHV pushrod design is obsolete by Japanese standards. I had a Corolla with a 2 TC and 250,000 miles on it. I ran like a champ when I sold it, finally blew up when the guy I sold it to ran it out of coolant due to a bad water pump. I personally like older stuff, so I would fix the 3TC myself.
