u should have them looked at they will probably need to be done brakes dont last forever and u dont want to test them till they fail.

you could keep driving until you hear a screeching sound when you brake.

It probably needs and last as long or hard you are on them. Get brakes.

I advise you have a mechanic look at the brakes and if they need to be replaced to change them.

if you do mostly highway driving, they should be fine, but if they are not squeaking, then they should also be fine, next time you get an oil change, you can ask them to take a look at them.
