Default I have some questions about the 1993-1998 Toyota Supra.?
Well, first of all I would like to know what the top speed is. If the top speed is electronically limited, is there anyway for me to change this? Also, what would be the cost to upgrade the the power to around 870 HP? Next, what can somebody modify and to what extent can they modify it so it remains legal to drive on the streets? And finally, I have heard that the Turbo models with the larger engine are not available with a manual transmission. Is this true?

all the supras run the same size engine. the turbo ones run a 2jzgte non turbos run the 2jzge. as for top speed unrestricted i have heard as high as 180mph is possible but with factory settings they are limited to 155mph. the limiter an be removed with ecu upgrades. for for reaching 800+ hp it will not be cheap. the suprastore.com has a 850hp package for about 10 grand. but you will need to upgrade your tranny as well so you do not blow it up. that can vary by parts brands. as for keeping it legal it all depends on where u live. some states do not do emissions check so you can run a 1000hp supra on the street.
