Probably not until the economy improves to the point that there is sufficient consumer demand to warrant the necessary monetary commitment from Toyota. Most of the development is easy, and they have the drivetrain components already available within the corporation (Hino). The problem is that it's not the best time to try to market a $50,000 Toyota truck to the average consumer that is already going to be leery of purchasing a heavy duty truck not made by Chevy, Ford, or Dodge.
Even then, it will likely be a 3/4T platform.
