I think it's mostly the model and year, that are being recalled, not a separate car's VIN.















Best thing to do, is check the Toyota Website for Recall. or contact your local dealership, where you bought your car.

Ok im a car salesman so hopefully i can steer you correctly.































Normally if your car is due a recall you will receive a letter from the manufacturer telling you to bring the car in.































If you are still worried then call your local toyota dealer ask for the service dept, with your reg and vin at hand (or just your log book v5/registration papers) and they will tell you if your car needs a recall or not.

heh look down on the gas pedal right about at the top of pedal arm you'll see a silver tag .write down the infomation and call your dealer.

VIN that start with J are not affected by the recall "J" means made 100% in Japan. VIN that start with 4T1 are affected depending on the pedal brand. If your car has a Denso pedal you are OK if not your car is part of the recall. Take a look of the following
