where is the cabin filter located in a 07 toyota tacoma?

Ive got an 06 tacoma, and mine is in a little box behind the glove box.































To get to it just open the glove box and temporarily remove whatever you got in there. Then squeeze gently on the backsides of the glove box so that the little prongs come out of their spot. The glove box should now be dangling off its rotating axis and straight back there is a box about 1"X4" with a tab that you pull down towards you. Open that and there is your cabin air filter. This may even be in the DIY maintenance section of the owners manual.

open your glove box































on the right side of it youll see alittle peg sticking out and on the peg is a plastic tube thats kinda pushed into the peg































the peg has a ring shape on the end of it, and is wrapped around the peg. slide that part off.































push on the glove box as if it were a accordian. push from the left and right.































the box will pop off the dash, but just the top.































behind it youll see a little door or cover.. all you do is pull off the cover or push in the tab on the side of the cover and off comes the door































now the filter is just laying there. so take out the old one, and slide in the new one.































put the cover back on.































push the glove box as if you were going to close your glove box as you usually would.































now just reattach the loop on the peg (some cars may not have this)































and your done.
