Is a toyota 4runner worth buying at 183k miles from a dealership?
I have been looking for a 4runner for 2 months. It has 183k miles and its clean and runs well but thats a lot of miles. I know they last into the 200k and 300k but I want to know if its worth trying?
Its a 1994 Toyota 4runner. Just my dream truck and I live in Michigan so it also has 4x4 and will help me with the snow.
second a dealership will be more expensive because they have to make a profit. if you buy from an private seller, they aren't trying to make a living selling cars, so the price will be cheaper.
If you can get a good deal, and it's what you want, then most vehicles will last long enough to justify your purchase (Toyota or otherwise). Just make sure you have someone you can trust who knows cars check it out thoroughly in advance.
You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here - carinsurance.yoll.net
