You might want to try and go over all the fuses and also be sure that the proper amperage is used , check the fuse chart and I you might have a another fuse under the hood or inside the vehicle that also is in the turn signal circuit.
Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way the best way to the fuses is use a 12 volt auto tester and put the ignition in the run position , both sides of the fuse should light up when you touch the metal connects at the end of each fuse.Also just bec a fuse chart doesn't mention it has anything to do with such things like the signals at times they do and check the signal relay flasher unit you could of caused a surge or it might of went on you.
You should be able to kill the DRL 's by removing it's timer or relay that is in the circuit or it's fuse.
