How long would it take a Run Away Toyota to fall down the Grand Canyon?

Let's say your pulling your Camry in to park it near the observation Platform at the Grand Canyon, when suddenly, your new Toyota accelerator SLAMS itself to the floor and gets stuck like that ladies Camry who rammed through the laundromat wall and crashed in to the dryers. Except that your new Toyota, motor grinding, hurls itself over the cliff at 100 mph..... How long would it take your Toyota to land at the bottom of the Grand Canyon? And would Toyota cover the damages and funeral expenses if you didn't have any insurance?

The forward momentum has no effect on how fast gravity would pull the vehicle to the bottom. A rock dropped at the same time would also hit the bottom at the same time. Why would you care about who pays your funeral expenses - you'll be dead either way.

well first your pedal wouldnt just slam to the ground,,look its happened 5 times and everyoneis stressed about it,do you really think its only toyotas this has happened?cause every year there are over 20 000 cases of sticking accelerator pedals yet no one made a big deal till toyota willing made the recall,now everyone is slaming them,,lets not forget how ford trucks where blowing tires or hondas catching on fire,and if the americans can forgive ford,gm and chysler(after they went bankrupt and screwwed all there worker out of there pensions)then toyota will be back on top,so to answer your dumb question i guess ill have to say JUST AS FAST AS ANY OTHER CAR WOULD HAVE.
