I like it.
If I were GM or Ford, I'd run a set of ads using one of Toyota's old slogans, specifically, "I love what you do for me....Toyota." and show competing Toyota models accelerating out of control into a pole or a Toyota Prius unable to stop slamming into the back of another car....then show a Ford Fusion hybrid or Chevy Malibu etc., and say "buy the new Ford Fusion Hybrid/Chevy Malibu etc., instead...your family will appreciate it."
Toyoata has given GM/Ford/Chrysler a prime opportunity to take some active steps in leveling the public's current view on import vs. domestic product quality. I hope they take advantage of the opportunity.
