Default Need help in knowing how much to sell '88 Toyota Land Cruiser?
Want to get advice on how much to sell a 1988 Toyota Land Cruiser? My cousin wants to sell it for $2800.00 and yet it has no radio, and the registration is also expired, but everything else works, such as the gauges, wipers, heater, air, etc.. I told him that 2800.00 was too much, but he insists on that. What do you think?

If the Land Cruiser is in excellent condition, like good paint, no rust, good tires and mechanically sound, he might get $1500 tops. If there is body damage and it needs tires, I wouldn't give more than $1000, probably less.















I have an '87 Mazda pick up that I doubt I could get much more than $500 dollars. Because it is a Toyota, he can get a bit more. The thing is the age. Again, if it is mint, then it is worth more.

Kelly Blue book will tell you what it is worth. Go to www.kbb.com. You enter your ZIP code, mileage, condition, and what the options are so it gives a fairly accurate price (selling and buying).

$2800 is probably right. Landcruisers are great cars and are worth at least that. It is one of the best toyota suvs ever made and if it is in good condition then that price woud sound about right.
