Default Toyota Recall on 2007 Camry?
So I had a accident 2 weeks ago in my 2007 toyota camry (one of the vehicles that have been on the recall list for toyota). Come to find out my car was a total loss, I was driving and all of a sudden my gas pedal accelarated to the point where I missed a curve and I could not control it. Now the insurance company only paid the value of the care which is $10,500.00 and I have to pay the balance of $6000.00. Does any one know what I can do in this case. I have contacted toyota and they say they can't do nothing about it. I need advice.

As of right now, I have not heard of any one successfully sue Toyota. Talk to your insurance agent maybe they can help you more. Don't forget to mention the Toyota Pedal problem and the recall.

Keep all your paper work on that car and the incident.















A class action law suit will be prepared real soon and you can join in for relief.

well i love how everyone is blaming Toyota for there stupidity,if by any chance this happened why didnt you press the brakes,any mechanic will tell you your brakes are stronger than the gas pedal so it would have stopped,also,your insurance investigated your car(expecally since Toyota issued the recall)and if you say its the pedal and they see it wasnt(cause it wasn't as the issue with the pedals only happened 5 time)and if your mat jammed the pedal then im sorry it was your fault for not installing them right with the hooks)they will charge you for fraud,so before you think you can pass a fast on on your insurance think again

None of this would of happened if you bought a Ford fusion, or any other American Car.
