I think Toyota is doomed if they don't correct these problems that they have known about for years, but did not take the steps until know to fix. Unless you complain about it, I doubt they will act on it

Well, the news coming out now says the brake pedal problems they are just now starting to fix started on 2003 models, so don't hold your breath..... I'd also crawl under the back end of that truck & look hard & long at that rear cross member....
