2009 TOYOTA CAMRY - RECALL --- DEALER WILL NOT SERVICE?

Default 2009 TOYOTA CAMRY - RECALL --- DEALER WILL NOT SERVICE?
I have a 2009 Toyota Camry that falls under the Toyota Recall.































It is not very clear on the steps to take. Is everyone just waiting or are there repairs being done?































I have went to the dealership for answers, but they only disregard the recall as invalid and highly blown out of proportion.































What happens next?

Many dealers are performing the update on customers cars as I write this. I wonder if your dealer has the parts that are required. It might be a good idea to call Toyota at 1-800-331-4331 for some answers.

...The Toyota dealer disregards the recall...well now, doesn't that just say it all. Toyota STINKS.

Best thing to do is to not go to that dealer, call around to other dealerships in the area and schedule an appointment to have your recall done. The service writer that takes your call should be able to tell you when the best time to come in, and if there are parts available for your vehicle. They will request you leave your vehicle there, but if your press they will get your car done in less than 90 minutes. Bring your letter you received in the mail if you have gotten one.

wow i work at a dealership and its Manditory that we check all the cars under the recall that come in. If i was you id try a different dealer
