the technicians at my toyota dealership get on average about an hour to 2 hours per car to inspect the pedal, find out if repairs are needed, and finish the repairs. these technicians are being paid by toyota itself and not the dealership. and on average get paid 16 to 25 flat rate per hour of work. not to mention the fact that they had to rush to make the shims that are going into the pedal assembly. id say theyre losing alot of money. but people are over estimating it, most of the cars come in dont need the pedal repaired, but with the huge amount of cars that are coming in, were swamped
