I truly don't know. But the article linked below claims to. It just raises more questions, like why did he take his wife's last name instead of using his own.















I always wondered why GM has a president and not a general myself!

I dont know that.















But There is two how to say ??.We can say Toyota and Toyoda.















Toyota is easier to pronounce .















































So maybe it is called Toyota.

it is because way back when















when the company First started















the owner could not pronounce his own name















and when they put it down on paper to form the company















that is the way he said it















and it has to stay now
