matter what?why? my '94 Toyota Corolla's speedometer suddenly stop working & shows constantly 30 mph even no matter what speed I am driving.What is could be?If speedometer itself need to replace then how expensive it is?Anyone here have any knowledgee?

Hi there.































that is a common problem to Toyotas from the 90's.































The speedometer has gone bad and will need to be replaced.































Do Not replace the Speed Sensor as you will be Wasting your money!































A used Speedometer is ok but get a guarantee!

It just sounds like the needle mechanism has broken/frozen. i think those are completely electronic meters (no cable). does your odometer gain mileage? if so it is getting signal from the computer. If not might be a wiring problem.















there are a couple little screws that hold the meter assy in place and a couple of plugs on the back. go to a "pick your part" and pull out a used one.
