Default Towing w/2004 Toyota Tacoma 4 Cylinder?
I am towing a 6x12 trailer with on 04 Tacoma 4 cylinder 4x4. It is a tough battle with such a small engine, I know. My question is should I use 4hi while pulling on the highway if I keep my speed under 50? It has a tuff timing pulling in 2WD.

No, do not pull in 4HI. Hwy speeds are reserved for 2wd only. Your gonna tear up that transfer case real fast. If your truck can't pull in 2wd, then it's too heavy. Get a bigger truck.

I know it sucks but if you cant lighten the load then you need to increase truck. if it dont pull good it wont stop good. be carefull. buy you a new truck not someone elses new car.
