Default I need a small SUV. Am looking at a Toyota 2001 Rav4, 130K miles for $6,300 just for a run
around. Opinions? My brother said Toyotas are good for 200K miles. Is this a known fact? It's basically for running around town but will need a 3 or 4 hour trip every now and then.

thats fine toyota's can run much more than that if you treat them right. BUt the rav for is not really much of an SUV to me its a hight car you only fit 5 people like a camry. BUt regarless its a good deal good luck

Check out Mercury: in previous years they've ranked as high as #2 in vehicle reliability, and the Milan was actually ranked highest in initial quality for the first 3 years it went on sale, and was then ousted by the all new Chevy Malibu.
