Car Problem with My Engine light?

Default Car Problem with My Engine light?
Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone knew the name of this car part I need. So, I have a toyota camry 97 and lately my check engine light keeps coming on, I finally got it checked out and they said that there was a sensor in my car that was needing to be replaced because it keeps triggering the check engine light...which then triggers my "track off" light to come on. This only comes on every once in a while when I push the gas (like normal) and the car kind of does this jump like it's switching gears...then my track off light comes on. Anyway, I can't remember for the life of me what the mechanic told me the sensor was called...something like a snyapsis or maybe i'm totally off. Does anyone know what it could be called?

Take the car to Autozone and have them to read the error code for free. They'll be able to let you know vs. paying a dealer $50.
