My car cigarette for a Toyota Camry 1994 is not working.?

Default My car cigarette for a Toyota Camry 1994 is not working.?
i checked the fuse and is working properly, i checked with a tester and is not working. what it can be?

Could be one of 2 things. The element in the lighter itself may be bad. Or the socket may be bad.































Finding a OEM replacement socket or element may not be easy to find for a 16 year old car.































However you could replace it with a universal cigarette lighter. You can find them at most major automotive parts stores. They will usually cost less than $15. There may be more than one to choose from. Look for one that most closely matches the one you are replacing.































You may need to alter the wiring harness to connect to your generic replacement cigarette lighter.
