How much oil should I use in my Tundra?
It's a 2000 Tundra with the 4.7L V8. I recently changed the oil, but i put in 7 quarts already and the dipstick only shows half-full. Last time, I used about 7 too, but it filled at 7. I recently used seafoam, which made the oil very dirty (i guess my engine was sludged up), would that cause me to need more oil? It's not leaking.
i don't have the manual and don't plan to buy one, this is a rebuilt vehicle, don't want to buy too much
