Default I am currently driving A 2007 Toyota Corolla le.?
I want to purchase a 2008 Hyundai Sonata. Do you think Hyundai is a good buy? What country makes it? And how reliable is the car? Thank you.

Hyundai is a Korean company,but has a plant in Alabama ,and offices in California. They have Americas best warranty,and high safety rating. Im currently putting an engine in a 2002 sonata because the previous owner hit a car in walmart ran it out of water and locked the thing tight. Its put together better than any thing Ive worked on lately. when I finish Im giving it to my 76 year old Grandmother. After working on it I trust it that much. These people totally abused it and it took it and still looks new and is in great shape. (minus the motor, but what engine can hold up to driving home with no water?) Hope that helps.

The Sonata would be a good alternative to the Corolla. However, count on a much reduced trade in/resale value for the Corolla, given recent developments affecting that and other recalled Toyota models.

It just sums up the pros/cons of all the midsize sedans. If it were my money I would buy the Malibu because it has the best interior and so far the reliability ratings have been stellar. If you want more info, just email me
