My 2008 Toyota Camry LE keeps slipping in the snow?
The car stated above keeps slipping in the snow like it wont break right should i birng it in as part of the recall or what please help and thanks in advance
ok i drive at a speed of 45 and 60 on the highway i enver race or and of that stuff. im a very safe driver im asking this because my brakes just dont hit good like today at work im pressing my brakes im pressing and pressing and the car wont stop it went upright on the snow..... i had a friend drive it down for me so yea..
The Camry's steering is also in question. Take it in, ASAP. They'll likely tell you nothing's wrong, which has been the Toyota corporate refrain the past few years, even in the face of mounting complaints.
You should start with getting the tires inspected since if they are stock they are most likely worn.
Snow is slick. Your going to slide. If the car is all over the place you either cant drive or you just need to get better equipt tires for the winter season.
That's why I drive an '87 4x4 suburban 2 months out of the year. 1700 miles a year. So...yea...
edit: Thanks for the thumbs down. I also own a 'jump-box' not jumper cables so after I drive around people stuck in the snow I can jump start other people who think a 4 to 6 year old battery will still work in 2 degree weather.
