Default Is there an alternator for a 1998 Toyota Corolla LE, above 80 AMPS?
Im looking to upgrade my audio system, and well. An 80AMP alternator won't get me very far. So I'm looking for an upgrade, yet I can't find one :/

you can put any alternator on any car, if you dont mind he buldge in the hood, get an alternator off a dumptruck, it will fit with modification. seriously.

As Lecken said you can use any alternator. I personally recommend the Delco/Delphi CS144 and AD244 alternators. They are 140 and 145 amps respectively and are easy to find a replacement for in the unlikely event that one fails.
