They were put on recall for problems with the accelerator and in the Prius, there was a problem with the breaks.

With overlapping recalls, growing by the day, some Toyotas are out-of-commission for a while. Also, some Toyota owners are understandably wary of driving them, especially with the growing doubts over the efficacy of Toyota's 'floor mat' and-little-piece-of metal-on-the-floor' fix for the sticky gas pedals.

Matt's right, the family name is Toyoda, the car's name is Toyota. The reason for the name change is that it is 8 characters in Japanese, and 8 is the number for good luck.

Well those Toyotas in the parking lots all self accelerated into oblivion, probably over a gard rail or cliff. And the Hook trucks are working triple time dragging the terminal Toyotas off to that great Toyota parking lot in the sky. Amen.
