Depends how fast you drive, the load in the car, is the heat/ac on... all these factor in gas consumption. Oh, and the price of gas varies from state to state.

According to map quest, its is about 1075 miles between Jacksonville and Syracuse.

According to a quick google search, a Toyota Corolla gets 36 highway MPG. Since that's best case scenario, and all of your miles won't be highway... lets drop that down to 30MPG average.

1075 miles, divided by 30MPG = about 36 gallons of gas.

Gas is about $2.75 right now... 36 times $2.75 = $99

So figure about $100

Don't forget to double that if you are going round trip.

It depends on the MPG (miles per gallon) that your car is getting when you make the trip and gas prices between cities on the way out there. If you research the gas prices and plan to get gas at certain stops rather than just anywhere, you can save allot of money. If you are willing to do a little research on your car. Try resetting your odometer(the thing that tells you how many miles you drove) the next time you fill it up to full with gas. Then see how many miles you get on a full tank. from there you can average out your mpg. You might want to check online or in your owners manual to see exactly how many gallons your car holds. Then map-quest your trip, this way you can get an exact numbers of miles you will be traveling. Next google some gas stations and do some math. It is up to you how much it will cost. If you care to take the time in planning it, you can save allot. Drive safe!!
