front, the only car minus trucks that toyota has ever made that was rear wheel drive is the toyota supra, and your right on the mr2, but the celica was front wheel drive

Front wheel drive. http://www.toyota.com/corolla/specs.html (for the current model, but it has been front wheel drive since the fifth generation (mid 80's).































Oh and jjviking is incorrect. Back in the day, Toyota had several RWD cars including the Supra, the Celica, the MR2, Corolla, just to name a few.

Also remember the Toyota Cressida back in the day and Lexus is Toyota. The LS 400 series and GS 300-400 and orig IS300. all are rear wheel drive.
