Its located on center rear of engine head between #2 and #3 spark plug wires. it has a rubber hose that goes back to the intake manifold. Take it out and remove the hose - wipe it off well. blow thru it from Cyl head side - air should pass easily. Blow opposite direction and should pass very little air then ok. if passes lot os air it is stuck asnd needs to be cleaned. Soak foir a while in carb cleaner solvent - shake it. Then see if it slows down the air when blown back toward cyl head. if that doesnt fix it - buy a new one. if it is stuck open you might have a rough idle.
