Is it possible to disable the automatic lights on a 99 toyota corolla?
I have installed a pioneer cd player headunit and have two wires left over that come from the car's wiring harness. Now here is the dilema, when the drl thing relizes its getting dark and kicks the lights on my stereo looses sound but still had power....I thought possibly that disabling the drl would work, but occassionaly if I turn the lights on myself the stereo acts in the same manner as with the automatic lights cutting on. Its not the daytime lights I think, but actually somethin to do with the a switch or relay either between the drl sensor and lights or both and the manual light switch. Any feedback will be appreciated.
