Default Toyota Trucks (Tundra and Tacoma )?
I am going to buy a used Toyota truck soon. I am looking at Toyota Tundra (year 2005, 2006, & 2008) and a Toyota Tacoma (year 2005-2008). is there anything special i should know about these models? Is there a defect? What do the used trucks generally sell for? Anything special?

I'm pretty sure all of those are affected by the current accelerator recall. the '08 Tundra is the new body style while the '05&'06 models are the old body style. The '08 Tundras are really great trucks.































Edit: I have used and abused my Tundra, and I have had no problems with any of the body parts or frame rusting. Or any other defect.















My uncle has an '08 Tacoma, and it is just as good as the Tundra, Quality wise.

They are notorious for rusting frames. There are many better options in the truck market than either of these.

The main problem you will have is when a guy like me sees you behind me in a Toyota I am going to go slower and slower until you pass so I don't die when you can't stop that death trap.
