The distributor cap simply unclips & the rotor arm is underneath. Just note which way the old rotor arm is pointing & pull the old rotor arm off. The new one simply pushes on in exactly the same position. It will only fit that way round to go fully on.
As you now have the old distributor cap hanging just by the wires, you will see that the new cap can be clipped on top of the distributor in its place. Then just pull out the first wire from the old cap & put it in exactly the same place in the new one, Do that with the second, third etc all one at a time.
Job done.
