Well for one thing they stopped comparing themselves to Toyota on quality and customer satisfaction.

Honda has problems of their own (air bag deployment), as well as several other of the Japanese car makers.
So most of them are just trying to keep a low profile, many have quality problems of their own. GM uses a lot of Toyota products and parts. So they are hoping to avoid spill over from shared manufacturing.
Subaru can sell about all the cars they make, I think they have upped production, but I have seen no press releases about that.
