Default 1999 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner vibration?
I have a 1999 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner Ext cab with a 2.7 engine w/auto trans. I am getting a vibration in the steering wheel and floor board between 25-55. I run Firestone Destination AT?s 31x10.5 R15LT and are about 3 months old and had them road forced balanced. Replaced the struts and shocks. I had the center bearing, both front and rear u-joints replaced at the dealer. Along with having the drive shaft balanced. I?m out of ideas and the dealer is no help. Any ideas?















I tried taking the spare and putting it on each and still have the vibration.

Could be tire balance issue or a damaged wheel. Try rotating wheels from front to rear.































Do the simple cheap stuff first.

You can also see if a friend or the dealer will let you put on another set of wheels and tires on the truck. If the vibration is still there and exactly the same, it most likely something else. At least you could rule that out.
