30,000 Miles Servicing for Toyota Camry - where did u go?

Default 30,000 Miles Servicing for Toyota Camry - where did u go?
I have to get my car serviced at 30,000miles and Toyota will charge me $280 for that. Do you think it's worth all that money? or I can go some other place too? Please share your comments.

well if u go anywhere else and its not "certified by toyota" it can void ur warranty.......also depends on what all they do for 30k...find out might not b that overpriced....

Shop around. Different dealerships charge different amounts.































Also READ your owner's manual to find out exactly what is recommended at 30,000 miles. If you can't find your manual, register at Toyota's site http://toyotaownersonline.com/ (free) to read your manual online. Most dealer's service departments, if you tell them "I want the 30,000 mile service," will do a LOT more than the manual requires, and thus you'll pay much more. Confirm what you really want and get them to give you a price for that.































And it's NONSENSE that going somewhere else will void your warranty. That was outlawed 35 years ago!

It will not void your warranty if you go somewhere else. Just keep your receipts. Typical service is the following, but can be changed if desired. Oil change, Tire rotation, brake inspection, air filter, cabin filter, alignment check and a visual inspection. What you can do is go to Toyota get the oil filter, cabin, and air and take those parts somwhere else.
