Default Question about the supra engine?
I came across a Supra forum, and down at the comments someone claimed that the blue print for the twin turbo i6 found in the Supra was actually taken from a Mercedes prototype back in the 1980's. Is this true? If it is, would you be able to show me a credible website supporting this? Thanks.

I can't find anything on Toyota took the engine from Mercedes... And I dont see why Toyota would want to. Toyota teamed up with Yamaha on both 1jz and 2jz as well as some of their other motors.
