My Toyota Sienna keeps dying? I think it may be related to the security system, any suggestions?
This just started last week but has been happening more and more frequently. It will have been running fine, then when I go to start it up after a quick stop like groceries or gas, nothing happens, no light, no turnover, nothing. The security system light is the only one blinking. After about 5 minutes, everything will suddenly be normal and it will start up fine.One time, it was already running, had it in park, then everything just shut off by itself. When I'm driving, the radio will turn itself off, some of the indicator lights will come on, then the radio comes back on. After this happens, when I turn it off,nothing will come on until it seemingly resets again. I feel this may be related to the security system since it is the only thing that still blinks, and seems to reset itself after a time. Also had a Ford van in the past that did some similar things because of that. Any suggestions on how to fix this or keep it from happening?
