at lest they advise everyone about it. I believe that in the 1960 FORD had problems with one of there cars and the figure it was cheaper to not tell anyone and to payoff the court settlement then to do a recall. I think it had to do something with the gas tank exploding on a back collision. I guess that's where the go the old expression Fond On Road Dead.

My father just got his 09 Camry serviced at the dealer. He is still taking precautions such as staying off the freeways and just driving locally. It is a scary thing to think about.

Yes, I am.

The Japanese car companies spent years trying to catch up to the quality of the American companies but now we know they can't do it.

you should be. 34 deaths is no joke. if you find yourself going 120 on the freeway because your accelerator is stuck, throw your transmission into neutral. then, you will be able to stop. but what would be an even scarier thought is when trying to merge into a busy highway. you will have milliseconds to react.

trade it in...

Are you serious combat vet? Toyota was superior than GM or Ford before all this. Now we are back to being equal to them. By the way Fords Pinto killed 27 people.

i never wanted to drive a toyota anyway...and if i had my grandfather would shun me from my family because he believes that Jap cars are for Japs and American cars are for American folks. his best friends died in the Japaniese islands defending our freedom in WWII. does anyone realize that Toyota made war planes, vehicles, and guns used to kill americans 70 years ago? just wondering...here's my answer...Toyota: Moving Forward, Until you can't stop
