what do you think of that as my first car?

You're determined to get a Toyota aren't you?































Have a look at a Corsa or Peugeot 206.































Yaris are OK, if you're 70 and wear a hat with flowers on.

Brilliant first car if you can afford one. They're well built & so command a premium price secondhand, but they perform & handle well for a small car & are quite stylish too.

My niece bought a bright red hatchback. It's real cute. I call it "the ladybug" as it sorta looks like one. The thing gets REAL good MPG and is quite roomy inside. I am 6'-2" and weigh 250# and can get in it and drive it with no problem. It actually has more head room than my (larger) Camry. I wouldn't have any second thoughts about owning one of these.

ugly. but good choice japanese cars are the best for reliability personally i'd go for a polo maybe or something better looking at least japanese or german though id say.

I like the hatchback version a lot. The only thing I really dislike about the Yaris is the instrument panel being in the centre of the dashboard. When I've driven a Yaris rental it always freaks me out a little It doesn't have the heavy feeling of quality of a Matrix or Corolla, but it's not a bad car. Probably a good first car!

Its a great car!! personally I like the electric power steering that they put in it. Its makes the work a little less and makes it kinda peppy. its nice to see the lower end cars have some cool perks
