How to flash toyota celica ECU?

Default How to flash toyota celica ECU?
is there a software for your pc computer?















i have a toyota celica 1994 gt 2.2















i know my car is a piece of crap.. is not a real tunning car. but so what? im learning alot of sh*t putting things on this car.. so don't post stupid answers...































and i know that to reprogram an ECU uyou need to know what you are doing or else im gonna ruin it..

just buy a chip if one is available. it will be alot cheaper, and it will be most effectively tuned. you could increase hp, and possibly fuel economy.































and like you say about risking damage, because you certainly would be.































anysoftware/computers like tuning shops will cost you lots of money.

You won't be able to "flash" that particular ECU, because it's OBD-I and is not an EEPROM. The closest you could get to reprogramming that is to "blow" it, if I remember the terminology right, but that's not easy at all, from the standpoint of a shadetree mechanic. It's not worth it either if you stick with the stock engine, because that ECU has the ideal settings for its engine. The only reason to change the ECU is if you do modifications to the engine, which will require a corresponding change to the fuel delivery.
