Default My 4runner compression check #s, are they good?
A mechanic buddy sent me to get my 1995 4runner engine compression tested. Now I cant find him to tell me what these numbers mean, and the wait is driving me crazy.































Here are the test numbers















Cyl #1 150















" #2 115" #3 125" #4 105" #5 110" #6 145

No this is not good, you are ranging from 105 to 145. Bad rings or valves.































Boomer above me gave good advice.

No not to hot, when looking at compression you generally want all the numbers to be within 10-15. I would run the motor till it goes... get it rebuilt or buy another motor.































If you buy another motor make sure you have your buddy do a compression test on it before purchase
