Lug nuts on aluminum alloy rims?

Default Lug nuts on aluminum alloy rims?
I own a 1994 toyota pickup truck.2wd, 5 speed.I just bought a set a 15" aluminum alloy (pacer brand name) wheels.The techs at the tire store (where I bought the wheels) installed my (brand new) aluminum alloy wheels using acorn lug nuts (that where on the previous aftermarket chrome wheels).Is this okay? I was always told to use mag seat (with a washer) on aluminum alloy wheels.































Any input?

You used to have to have the special nuts with washers. I don't know about new aftermarket wheels, but my aluminum Chevy wheels take an acorn-type nut. One word of warning: I put these Z28 wheels on this Buick.
