2009 corolla keyless entry?

I just bought a 2009 corolla LE with only one key and nothing else. I asked the sell person about the keyless entry, but he said that the car come with only one key.can some one help me to find out if my car have keyless entry system install and if not. can I buy and install one myself. by the way, this car came from enterprise rental.

1. Almost all cars when out in the market always have 2 keys. You can request your Toyota dealer and give the secret key code number to provide you additional.

2. Check your car if it is equipped with central locking system, you can install the keyless entry system, but if doors are manually locked, keyless entry will not work.

it depends. call toyota and give em ur vin and they'll tell you if it does usually on 09 models the keyless entry remote is the same as the key so maybe yours doesn't

you should have found that out before you bought the car, i know from personal experience.

i bought a truck with electric locks and the salesperson told me all i had to do was buy the fob (the keyless remote thingy). turns out that's a big lie. You have to buy all sorts of radio frequency crap, get ready to drop about 5-6 hundred for keyless entry.

you will have to take it to the dealership,but they can tell you if the car came with a remote from the factory or not. then all you will have to do is buy a factory fob (remote). about 2-3 hundred.
