mr2 roadster, noise from the engine, please help!!!?

Default mr2 roadster, noise from the engine, please help!!!?
When i have no revs on there is a ratteling noise coming from the engine (in the back of the car)... It starts bout 10 seconds when the car is still and gets louder about 4/10 for sound! The sound goes when im driving only happens when im still. What could this be? ppppplease help Thank you x

Could be a pulley. Is a new timing belt due? If that pulley works loose it will destroy Your engine, and it won't be gradual.
