Will a 1991 5 speed Toyota Celica transmission work in a 1990 Celica?
I Want to put a 1991 Toyota Celica 5 speed transmission in my 1990 Toyota Celica that has a atuomatic transmission will that work if not what year will work?
actually, it will work as long as the bellhousing lines up. if its a 2 piece trany then that should be an easy fix if it doesnt line up... ive changed trannies from auto to manual in many of my vehicles...
a lot of work. if not the same engine will not bolt up. will need to have same engine also will need to get the axles and mounts will have to play with speedometer gears they will be off also all the linkage and brackets and line it up for drilling a hole in the floor for the extra pedal along with the master and slave cylinder for the clutch pedal
