Should I get a Toyota Tacoma?

Default Should I get a Toyota Tacoma?
I'm looking at getting a smaller truck to save gas, and I've heard toyota makes the best one in the class (compact). I'm going to be towing medium sized travel trailer, and I'm loading some boxes for carrying cargo in the back. Will a toyota tacoma work out with this business, or should i get a different truck?

Tacoma is a great truck. Great gas mileage. It will work for that kind of stuff no problem. Don't listen to the other guy. I work for Toyota. I've only seen I rust through the frame truck. Guess what he got a brand new frame, suspension, parts and anything else that had rust on it free of charge. He even got a rental for free as well.

It's only best in class in it's absolute top level trim. Otherwise it's just like any other pickup in that class.































I would only consider a top of the line V6 model. I was recently given a Toyota Tacoma rental. It was a base model (no leather, no cruise control, only power things were windows and door locks). The interior quality was poor, and after driving it, I could easily see why people wouldn't be able to shift to neutral in an unintended acceleration situation (poor design of floor shifter) It was such a poor ride and the 4 cylinder engine was so coarse and unrefined and the fuel economy wasn't even that great.































But if you are considering a V6 pickup, you might as well go for a v6 model of a full size pickup.lol

Aren't those the ones that are being recalled for breaking in two pieces while driving because of rust? No better wait.

It's better than the Ford Ranger and Chevy Colorado, but everyone seems to forget the Nissan Frontier. I really like the Frontier. It just looks less cheesy than the Tacoma. Here's a comparo of the two:
