The crucial question is whether the oil pressure is actually bad or if it is a false alarm. My approach to oil warning lights is to blindly change the pressure sender first. The labor is about the same as connecting an oil pressure gauge, the part is cheap and it is the most common cause of oil pressure warnings. If the light is on with a new sender it is time for real troubleshooting.
when you got the oil changed, they might have not primed the oil filter. so check you oil level and if it is low, add more and see if that fixes it. if that doesn't, check the sender unit
