However there success is actually their own worst enemy. In the past, General Motors was hugely successful. However to keep up with demand, quality suffered. Today General Motors s much smaller than it used to be and quality is very much improved. With Toyota's recent success they have grown too big to keep up with quality. The demand is too enormous. Production demands and the quest for profits, have greatly hurt quality. Unless you are living under a rock, anyone can see that Toyota is not the brand that it used to be.
